The SCVR represents all student sports and culture assocations from Delft . We do this by providing subisidies for different student sport evenements, organsing Assocation nights in collabration with X or by providing other supplements that assocations or boards needs.
The SCVR comes from the fusion of the SSD and the SSVR which was the sports and culture council before us. After that the first SCVR was founded in 2019-2020 and since then there have been 7 boards and we are the eight. In that time frame we have built a large network with lots of different partners such as X, the SR, the muncipality and a lot of different student support institutes such as the student hub.
Till 2008 we had the DSSF, the first student sports council, unfortanetely they ware unable to find a new board. So as continuation the SSD was founded, which became responsible for the subsidies of the bata, NSK and GNSK.
Over the years the SCVR has evolved quite a bit with structure, board members and whether or not certain association have a permanent seat on the board.
